What you’ll be doing

• In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of different GIS and planning related projects with highly skilled professionals in this field.
• You will scope and acquire data, clean and vectorize, georeference, geocode, and run basic table joins. You will also interpret datasets and perform quality assurance checks.
• Planning related tasks will include: preliminary due diligence research, responding to client inquiries, reviewing developments and applications, and interpreting official plans and zoning information to be summarized and displayed on our spatial platform.
• Other administrative tasks such as photocopying and file organization as requested.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3rd or 4th year student attending university in a relevant field (Urban Planning, Geography, GIS, etc.)
• Experience with professional GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS
• Familiar with other professional design software (Adobe Suites) and formats (.ia, .cad, etc.).
• Knowledge of urban planning and commercial real estate in North America.
• A passion for challenging work and a super work ethic.
